There are decaf people that like their coffee roasted on the darker side and then there are those that want a coffee that's seriously dark. These folks aren't kidding around when they say they want bold and black and they don't want the jitters! For those coffee lovers, we present our Seriously Dark Decaf coffee pods. It's exceptionally, extraordinarily, amazingly dark with notes of baker's chocolate and toasted walnut with a sweet finish. This FRC-exclusive artisan blend features coffee beans from South America.

Short on caffeine but long on flavor, Sugarcane* decaffeinated coffees (also known as EA Decaf or Natural Decaf) have a subtle sweet aroma thanks to the decaffeination process.

Fully caffeinated green coffee is steamed to remove the silver skin (the natural coating on coffee beans) and open the pores of the bean before it’s bathed in a fermented sugarcane compound called ethyl acetate that binds to and removes caffeine until the beans reach 97% decaffeination. After which, they’re dried and shipped to us to be roasted to perfection. The ethyl acetate produced in the sugarcane process can also be found in pastries, fruit, and wine.

Best, richest, darkest decaf ever.

"Flavor exceeds that of any decaf or caffeinated coffee. I brew it in both Keurig stainless steel cup and French press. I believe it would be even better in a pour over or drip as it seems too fine for my methods. It slows the Keurig brewing down and leaves a bit of silt. Personally, i enjoy the smooth silt at the end. This is a 10/10."
